Diagnose. Train. Perform.

A focused session. A clear next assignment.

01

Diagnose

Find the step that breaks down.

Review a question you missed. Was the problem understanding the question, choosing a method, calculating or managing time?

02

Train

Practice the skill you need.

Work through a focused set of problems. Explain your choices and correct the recurring mistake—not just the final answer.

03

Perform

Use it on a new question.

Try a different problem, then add time limits. Check whether you can choose and use the method without a prompt.

Original teaching example

Try one problem. Explain the decision.

A useful explanation shows why a method works. Try this short example, then look at the reasoning behind the answer.

A price increases by 25%, then decreases by 20%. Compared with its original value, the final price is:

Choose one answer, then check your reasoning.

See the full reasoning

Start with a price of 100. A 25% increase adds 25, bringing the price to 125.

The 20% decrease is calculated on 125, the price at that point. Since 20% of 125 is 25, the price returns to 100.

100 increases to 125, then decreases to 100.

We can use 100 because only proportional changes are given. Any starting price is multiplied by 1.25, then by 0.80. Their product is 1, so the original price is unchanged.

First identify the amount. Then calculate the percentage.

Private tutoring

Your preparation. Not a standard script.

Use your questions, results and deadline to decide where the work belongs. Sessions focus on your reasoning—not on watching someone else solve a problem.

Discuss the format, fees and availability before deciding.

One-to-one online lessons

Work directly with Bruno. Explain your approach, ask questions and test a clearer way to solve the problem.

Focused practice between sessions

Leave with an agreed assignment, so you know what to work on before the next lesson.

Review that changes the next attempt

Look at the first step that went wrong and what you will do differently when a similar problem appears.

Your tutor

Meet Bruno Rodriguez.

Founder of DG Prep.
GMAT tutor since 2006.

The goal is not to memorize Bruno’s solution. It is to understand the question, explain your own decisions and use what you learned on a problem you have not seen before.

DG Lab · Student access

Keep the work moving between lessons.

DG Lab is an invitation-only practice environment. Ask Bruno which activities are available for your preparation. Access is separate from requesting a consultation.

Before you get in touch

A few useful answers.

I have not taken a GMAT practice exam. Can I start?

Yes. Tell Bruno which programs interest you and when you expect to apply. If you do not yet have a score, say so. That helps establish an appropriate starting point.

Who will teach my lessons?

Bruno Rodriguez teaches the private tutoring sessions. DG Prep is founder-led: you work directly with the tutor introduced on this page.

What happens between lessons?

You work on the practice agreed with Bruno. Bring your attempts and questions to the next session so the review can focus on how you made each decision.

How long should I prepare?

That depends on your starting point, target, deadline and weekly study time. A useful plan starts with those facts—not a fixed number of weeks for everyone.

How much does private tutoring cost?

Ask Bruno about current fees and availability. Discuss the format and what is included before deciding whether to proceed.

Can I sign up for DG Lab on my own?

DG Lab is currently invitation-only. If you are already an invited student, use Student login. If you are considering tutoring, ask Bruno which practice activities are available.

Your next step

Bring your target. Let’s plan the work.

Tell Bruno your current score, target and test date, if you have them. Start a conversation about what your preparation needs.
